Prevents wire from cutting into the wood. Keeps horizontal wires tight. Frame wire has a tendency to cut into the frame end bars. Using Metal Eyelets will eliminate this problem and keep the wire tight preventing the foundation from sagging. The Metal Eyelets are inserted into the wiring holes in the end bars and the frame wire simply passes through the eyelet. This process is best accomplished using an eyelet punch.
